Cubbies!

Yeah! Big Big Sign behind a couple of Big Big Studs! The Cubbies may have lost to the Phillies, but we felt like we owned Wrigley Field. Yes, it was hot....yes, we were wiped out...but yes, at the end, we were all talking about where we would go next year.

These guys are amazing. I can't imagine putting up with me, if I were them. But, we love it.

Hopped on a Grandma and Grandpa express from Joliet and headed into Chicago. They dropped us off at the Cubs game, we quickly dropped a ridiculous amount of money on cool hats, food, bats...we were putty in their hands at the giftshop. Then, around the 4th inning, we jumped ship, took a cab to the now "Willis" Tower and....those are our tired feet up there, 103 floors about the street level. My knees were shaking, but I couldn't let the boys see that...faking brave...seemed to work.

Long drive back to Colorful Colorado, but we needed it to unwind, talk about all we had seen, laugh a bit, eat some more, sleep and get home to tell Mom and Hannah.

Next year....we'll see!
